Funding from New Hampshire Humanities for Humanities to Go programs is only for nonprofit organizations and community groups. All Humanities to Go programs must be free and open to the public.
New Hampshire Humanities provides a check to the host organization to cover the presenter’s stipend. The only cost to host organizations is covering the mileage of the Humanities to Go presenter. Note that some “living history” performers may charge an additional fee. Ask “living history” performers about any additional fee at the time of booking.
Check here to see if we currently have an open call for proposals. If there is not an open call, you may email HTG@nhhumanities.org with your proposal idea, but please note that we may not be actively adding new programs at that time. Learn more here.
You can find the contact information for Humanities to Go presenters on their program description page. What if we have already booked a program and need to change the date/venue/time? Please contact New Hampshire Humanities as soon as possible so that we can update our events calendar and social media. Call us at 603-224-4071 or email HTG@nhhumanities.org. We will post cancellation and rescheduling information on our website and social media. Alert your presenter, community and media outlets as far in advance as possible with changes. Post notice of any change at the venue.
New Hampshire Humanities programs are made possible in part by a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). Any views, findings, conclusions or recommendations expressed in this these programs do not necessarily represent those of the NEH or New Hampshire Humanities.
