"Informative, fun, interactive– we cannot say enough positive things about Humanities@Work! It was a great way to enjoy time together as a team, be educated in a subject we are all interested in, and support an organization that we think so highly of. Well done, New Hampshire Humanities!"

- NH Employer

Americans are working more than ever, and the pace of our lives has increased in ways we never would have imagined even a decade ago. In response to the changing nature of work and our mission to engage an increasingly diverse constituency in experiences that enrich public life, New Hampshire Humanities has developed an employer-based pilot project called Humanities@Work. We are working with nonprofits as well as small and large companies across all sectors of New Hampshire’s business community to connect new audiences with opportunities to explore the humanities.

How Does it Work?

Employers can choose from this list of available Humanities to Go offerings or request customized programs to fit their needs. Our programs can be used as part of team-building exercises, diversity training, or personal development and enrichment efforts. Call or email us with your request for a Humanities@Work program, and we will work with you to find an appropriate program and schedule an event at a time that is convenient for your staff (lunchtime programs are a popular choice). New Hampshire Humanities will provide evaluation tools after the event to assess how well the program met the employer’s goals.

Rates*
For-profit companies: $750
Non-profit organizations: $500

Tricia Soule “We are delighted to collaborate with New Hampshire Humanities to make cultural experiences accessible to businesses of all shapes and sizes. As businesses look to attract and retain a talented and robust workforce, it is important to provide engaging experiences for employees to build connections with one another and consider new and interesting ideas. Making Humanities@Work available to our members is one way to help businesses highlight the important role cultural offerings play in making New Hampshire an attractive place to live and work.”
