New Hampshire Humanities is proud to support history, arts, and cultural initiatives commemorating the 250th anniversary of the historic events connected to the American Revolution in New Hampshire.

Together, these programs create opportunities to learn, reflect, and engage in meaningful conversations about our shared history.

This milestone anniversary invites us to reflect not only on the founding era, but also on the people, ideas, and unfinished work of the American Revolution. Throughout the year, we’ll explore topics such as:

• New Hampshire’s role in the fight for independence
• The lives of everyday citizens during the Revolutionary era
• Indigenous and African American experiences in the 18th century
• The evolution of democratic ideals over 250 years
• How the Revolution continues to shape civic life today
• How remembering together helps us shape the future
