Celebrating the extraordinary heritage of book illustration in this region, Imagine That! The Power of Picture Books, brings the riches of New England book illustration to the Seacoast. Featuring more than one hundred artworks by over 30 illustrators from Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, this five-month exhibit explores stories about journeys, spanning a century of creativity. This exhibition will provide engagement spaces for families in the gallery, including a bookmaking station, a book-themed play space, a reading nook, a toy theater, and an audio guide for visitors.
