They not only tell stories of such historical events as the Great Awakening, the Throat Distemper epidemic, the American Revolution, and the battles of the Civil War, but also reveal how aspects of society in the Granite State. Join Glenn to find out more about these deeply personal works of art and learn how to read the stone "pages" that give insight into the vast genealogical book of New Hampshire through the ages.
Join the Plains Cemetery 300th Anniversary Celebration, with a tour of the cemetery at 10:00 am and celebration at 12:00 pm.
Due to the size of the cemetery, please register in advance to ensure a place on the tour. Each tour will be limited to 75 people. Those who arrive without pre-registering will only be able to take the tour if spaces are open. If you register and cannot attend, please cancel your reservation so another guest can attend.
