A Walk in the Woods

Danville naturalist and Outdoor Educator Kim Cote will lead a guided walk in the woods in conjunction with our all-community read The Bear. Kim will show us how to find animal tracks and signs of animal habitats. We will discuss different seasons in NH forests and woods and how seasons and the sky relate to the book. We'll discuss how the characters in this gripping tale existed in the harsh terrain.
To register, please email director@colbymemoriallibrary.org.
More information is available on the The Colby Memorial Library website.
Tucker Town trail was chosen for this walk because it is relatively flat. We would love a volunteer to videotape the walk so it can be shown later to others who may not be able to join us. Please email director@colbymemoriallibrary.org if interested.
Free parking, across Main Street in the Ye Olde Cemetery Parking Lot, at the Tucker Town trail head, and slightly up the road at the Town Forest, is limited. Parking for carpooling is available at the library at 7 Colby Road.
