Join Paula McAvoy, co-author of The Political Classroom and Mary Ellen Daneels, Director of the Illinois Civics Hub and Illinois Democracy School Network, for a full-day, in-person workshop focused on structuring respectful conversations in the classroom and giving students the skills to hear and consider both sides of a topic. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.  5 PD hours for day only participation. 10 PD hours and $75 stipend for full participation (day participation, follow up in your classroom, submitted lesson and reflection submitted to NH Civics by Jan. 31, 2023). Please register by July 25, 2022.
