Sustaining the Humanities Through the American Rescue Plan (SHARP)

New Hampshire Humanities SHARP Grants

The 2021 American Rescue Plan Act (ARP) allocated significant funds to the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) to assist organizations impacted by the pandemic. The NEH subsequently apportioned $51.6 million to the nation’s state humanities councils through its Sustaining the Humanities through the American Rescue Plan (SHARP) program, with the intention that the councils would disseminate the funds to humanities and cultural organizations across their respective states.

New Hampshire Humanities (NHH) SHARP Grants provided up to $20,000 in operational and programmatic support to help eligible organizations recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The application period is closed; grant funds have been dispersed.
