Community Conversations

Our communities are evolving. What do we mean by “our community”? Is it where we live? The people with whom we spend time? A lot of us find community at work or through hobbies. How do we stay connected to where we live and the people who live there?

This spring, the New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) and New Hampshire Humanities (NHH) invited Granite Staters to come together and explore the changing nature of communities and the role of community centers in strengthening New Hampshire’s towns and cities.

Neighbors gathered in six locations across the state to brainstorm a community-building project that will enable people to come together and deepen their connections to each other and to the place they call home. Watch your e-news for announcements about the upcoming community-generated projects!

Join the Arlington St. Community Center (ASCC) for a dynamic conversation about the evolving role of community and what it means for Nashua, taking place at the Nashua Public Library. This is an opportunity to connect with neighbors, share your experiences, and explore project ideas for a stronger, more resilient community.

Spanish, Portuguese, and Arabic translations will be available for this event.

This event is free & open to the public. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available. Help ensure we have enough room, so tell us you are coming!
