New Hampshire Boat Museum's lecture series “Who’s in the Boat?” features athletes in crew racing. You’ll hear stories of their aspirations, accomplishments, and how they overcame barriers to succeed in one of the most grueling and competitive sports around. Kathy Keeler is a former competitive rower and Olympic gold medalist. She was “in the boat” when the American women's eights team won the gold medal at the 1984 Summer Olympics, the first women’s crew to win gold in U.S. history. She will share her insights about women in crew racing and the transformative impacts of the landmark Title IX legislation.
