The natural resources of the Androscoggin River Valley have long drawn people to Maine and New Hampshire. Their economic value and
beauty make the rual and developed areas around the river possible (and enjoyable) places to live. In this talk, we will be exploring the joys
and hardships of the natural resources of the Androscoggin River Valley, as well as the speaker's own experience growing up and building a
life in Northern NH.
Rachel Dandeneau is a professor of environmental science at White Mountains Community College.
