Community Conversations
Our communities are evolving. What do we mean by “our community”? Is it where we live? The people with whom we spend time? A lot of us find community at work or through hobbies. How do we stay connected to where we live and the people who live there?
The New Hampshire Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) and New Hampshire Humanities (NHH) invite all Granite Staters to come together and explore the changing nature of communities and the role of community centers in strengthening New Hampshire’s towns and cities.
Your ideas will help develop a community-building project that enables people to come together and deepen their connections to each other and to the place they call home. Join us for a conversation at one of six sites across New Hampshire!

Join Historic Harrisville, Inc. and the St. Denis Community Center for a dynamic conversation about the evolving role of community and what it means for Harrisville and the Monadnock Region, taking place at the Spinning Room in the Granite Mill. This is an opportunity to connect with neighbors, share your experiences, and explore project ideas for a stronger, more resilient community.
This event is free & open to the public. Food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available. Help ensure we have enough room, so tell us you are coming!
