Trail Hike: Survival Skills from The Bear

Join the Barrington Public Library for a special hike as part of New Hampshire's BIG READ! In the 2023 "Big Read" book, The Bear by Andrew Krivak, the main characters must survive the wilderness. In conjunction with this theme and in partnership with the Barrington Trails Committee, committee members and some guest speakers will share basic trail and survival skills inspired by the novel while enjoying a hike. The hike will leave from the BYA Ball Fields on Smoke Street to hike the Barrington Trail. Parking is free.
