Food connects us with the past, present, and future—our family, friends, community; our culture and other cultures; the people who grow our food; and the Earth. This year, supported by a NHH Focus Grant, Hopkinton Historical Society will explore our history through our culinary connections in their 2022 series, “Gather ‘Round: Telling Our History Through Food.”
In this program, Liz Charlebois, Abenaki educator, artist, and seed expert, will lead a Zoom cooking demonstration on traditional Abenaki boiled cornbread. Participants can either watch or cook alongside Liz at their own home and a list of ingredients will be made available in advance to participants.
