The New Hampshire Humanities family is deeply saddened to learn of the death of Van McLeod, Commissioner, State of New Hampshire Department of Cultural Resources. Van was a steadfast and passionate champion of New Hampshire culture and of the creative individuals and organizations that help shape the state’s identity. Van’s passing is a great loss to all of us in the cultural community and to the state as a whole.
