Our policy regarding programs and the Coronavirus

To our many partners, grantees, supporters, and audience members:  The Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been detected in nearly 100 countries around the globe, and several cases have now been confirmed here in New Hampshire. Because the safety and health of our partners and audiences is of the utmost importance to us, we’re want to let you know that if any public humanities events funded by New Hampshire Humanities (NHH) need to be canceled or rescheduled due to public health concerns, grantees and programming partners should feel empowered to make decisions that meet the needs of their staff and audiences.

 

NHH will honor all grant agreements with organizations that postpone or cancel due to public health concerns. We ask all organizations to provide updates regarding postponements, cancellations, new formats, and revised budgets to NHH, so that we can update our calendars and records.

 

Attendees should visit our online calendar or call the host site to check the status of programs they plan to attend before heading out.

 

We are monitoring the situation carefully and will provide updates as they become available.
