Everybody Must Give Their Might: Soldiers, Sailors, Nurses and the Warner Homefront
There are 47 names of men on the World War 1 plaque hanging at the Warner Town Hall. Marion Derry, who served as an Army Corps Nurse, lived in Warner after the war and the historical society has her uniform.The local Red Cross in Warner raised money and rolled bandages. Businessmen organized and raised money through selling war bonds. Come and discover who these people were and what they were doing both on the war and home fronts.
